One of the more obscure candy card sets of the early 20th century, the George Close collection can be found with cards featuring seven different background colors and 11 different backs, one of which is a 30-card checklist and the other 10 feature various advertisements printed over the top of the checklist. The featured group of 13 cards all have just the checklist with no overprint on the reverse. Each card is in POOR to FAIR condition with two SGC graded: SGC 1.5 Leach and SGC 1 Lake. Also includes HOFer Chance and Byrne, Davis, Lake, Lobert, (2) Magee, (2) Moore and (2) Murray.
