When Jack Johnson defeated reigning champion Tommy Burns in 1908, he made history as the first black man to hold the title of Heavyweight Champion of the world. After defending the title against James Jeffries in 1910, Johnson went up against Fireman Jim Flynn, and this 1912 full ticket is from that championship bout. Hurling racial epithets at Johnson, Flynn was ultimately disqualified for continued head-butting.
