The 1915 Cracker Jack series is jam-packed with baseball immortals now residing in the Hall of Fame, 32 of them to be exact. Of those diamond legends, the iconic "Georgia Peach" Ty Cobb rises to the top. His quartet of pasteboards in the T206 series is more well-known, but the 1915 Cracker Jack Cobb holds a special place in the hearts and minds of vintage collectors. When this series came out, Ty Cobb was the most electrifying player in the game with eight consecutive American League batting titles under his belt (he'd run the streak to nine in 1915). The featured card is graded PSA 4, experiencing some light discoloration around the front and back borders with even rounding commensurate for the grade, but the precise image of Cobb adrift in the surrounding bold red backdrop is truly a hallmark of the popular earth 20th-century series. The black print on the back is clean and bold, completing the package as a very impressive specimen and one of the most important baseball cards ever produced.
