Issued by the Mayfair Novelty Company in 1919, these strip cards are blank backed and unnumbered, and the set describes various positions and situations in the game of baseball. While the characters are generic, some enthusiasts believe certain figures were based on actual players. The Shortstop and Batter images are thought to be modeled after Honus Wagner, and the Fielder card can be viewed as an interpretation of Joe Jackson. Additionally, one of the First Base cards looks suspiciously like Hughie Jennings. Offered here is a group of six, all graded by PSA. The Pitcher is the misspelled variation: Picher.
