The 1923 Cleveland Indians squad of 29 members are lined up in front of the stadium seats for this incredible panoramic, which is framed to a size just under 14" x 37." The '23 Indians finished third with a record of 82-71 but trotted out some heavy hitters in the game, led by Hall of Famers Tris Speaker, Stan Coveleski, and Joe Sewell as well as the American League's winningest pitcher that season, George Uhle, who notched 26 wins. Each player's name and position is identified in white lettering directly below their image with "The Cleveland Baseball Club - American League - Season 1923" across the top. The photo exhibits some mild creases extending from the borders, typical for panoramas as they were often rolled up for storage. A truly beautiful piece for any baseball historian!
