Of the quartet of 1933 Goudey cards attributed to Babe Ruth, perhaps card #149, the "red Ruth," has the greatest visual impact. Supporting the accurate portrait image of "The Sultan of Swat" in a post-swing pose, the deep red pigmentation on this PSA 4 example is consistently bold. The corners and edges show moderate wear with a centering shift that both falls within VG/EX standards while the reverse excels with a deeply saturated green bio and improved centering usually reserved for higher-graded examples, outlined by a mild red tint from the common bleed-through from the front surface. You really can't go wrong with any of the '33 Goudey Ruth's offered in this auction, but the argument can be made that the featured piece makes the biggest visual statement of them all.
