Probably the most recognized and coveted of 1933 Goudey cards that doesn't have the name Ruth or Gehrig on it, the bright yellow pasteboard of "Jimmy" Foxx is offered here and it's a real beauty! The impressively clean backdrop gives way to a bold and amazingly well-registered image of "The Beast" that is enhanced by a strong red nameplate. The corners are stronger than expected for the NM grade and the centering favors the southeast just slightly. If you're in the market for a NM Foxx, this is certainly one of the finer specimens you'll find.
