There is much debate as to what is Joe DiMaggio’s true rookie card, but what can’t be disputed is the fact that the offered R312, issued in 1936, is definitely among his earliest appearances. The offered example has been graded VG 3 by SGC, due to corner wear and light wrinkles in the notoriously thin paper stock, but the pastel colors remain bold and the central image is focused quite nicely.
