Graded MINT 9 by PSA. While he was a gifted slugger, Leon Allen Goslin’s outfield play was questionable. A penchant for flapping his arms as he tracked down fly balls, a task he had no small amount of difficulty with, as well as a general awkwardness about his mannerisms earned him the title of “Goose.” Although a Hall Of Famer, Goose’s lone All-Star selection would come with the Tigers in 1936, when at age 35 he hit .315 with 24 home runs. The featured collectible stands as the 1 AND ONLY copy of this card that has been graded MINT 9 by PSA with none having been graded higher. Precisely centered with four utterly flawless corners providing the necessary basis for the esteemed grade.
