In the only meeting ever recorded between the two schools, the Stanford Indians completed an undefeated season with a 21-13 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the 1941 Rose Bowl. The featured jersey is a vintage survivor from that post-war era, worn by fullback Norm Standlee, who went on to play eight seasons in the NFL. The jersey has several small holes and repair-marks scattered over the front and back, a result of being used on the gridiron for Standlee's entire college career. The front is signed by Standlee and the reverse has "Norm Standlee 1938,39,40 Stanford Univ" on the second number of his "22." A Gantner & Marrent Co. label appears inside. An amazing piece of college football history from the game that brought the "T Formation" to the forefront of the sport. LOA from Mile High Card Company.
