While rival Bowman was opening their 1952 series with American League MVP Yogi Berra, the Topps company was entering the baseball card market with its debut card featuring little-known Andy Pafko. It's over 70 years later and you won't find many collectors who prefer the Berra card to the Pafko now. Higher-grade 1952 Topps Andy Pafko cards are very tough to come but we've got a pretty sweet PSA 7 with a black back to entice both basic and master set builders. The centering is quite astute and the perimeter appears better than expected for the grade. The reverse surface, as well as the central image, are well-printed. A perfect way to start off that upper-grade set.
