The presented '54 Bowman salesman's sample features Harvey Kuenn, Bob Porterfield, Del Crandall and Smokey Burgess on a panel intended to inspire retailers to order lots of the upcoming '54 cards. This panel shows no interior creases with a light corner bend at the lower left. The sticker identifying the piece as a salesman's sample has been removed from the reverse, leaving trace amounts of residue but allowing for full viewing of the card backs. Who knows when another run of salesman's samples such as this will surface again, so if you're a collector of scarce, somewhat esoteric items, take a close look at this one!
