The story behind the '54 Bowman Williams card is well-known with advanced collectors but always worth telling again. Issued by the company as #66, Bowman was forced to remove the card from production as Williams was exclusively contracted with Topps, making it far scarcer than the other cards in the set. Graded NM 7 by PSA, this card is centered extremely well and has a crisp image with good color. All four endpoints have slight wear but easily attain NM status if not slightly higher otherwise. The toughest of all Ted Williams cards!
