If this is what passes for EX+, it's time to stop buying cards in higher grades and look for examples just like this one. Granted the centering of this 1954 Topps Hank Aaron rookie card is clearly favoring the right edge but nearly flawless delivery of the up and coming future home run king against the glowing orange backdrop rivals examples many grades higher. Three of the four corners are at least of EX/MT quality if not NM while the perimeter edges are smooth and problem-free as highlighted by the bright white border. The reverse is moderately toned with some flaking of the green edges, but the overall sharpness of the card is extremely pleasing given the restrained grade of PSA 5.5. A very worthy specimen for the mid-grade set-builder or collector of important rookie cards.
