The 1955 Topps Roberto Clemente rookie card is one of the most popular pasteboards of the post-war era, and even at a grade of SGC 7, you often have to settle for one with less than stellar surface quality or a clear centering impedance. This example offers neither, very well framed for the issue with extraordinary color and registration. The reverse shows the usual slight age toning but is well-printed and clean and the endpoints are at the upper end of the NM designation. A perfect key card for any upper-grade collection.
