You should expect a vintage card graded PSA 8 to look stunning, but wow! Hall of Fame legend Ted Williams was no stranger to grabbing the pole position card #1 in the series, doing so in the 1954 and 1958 Topps sets as well as right here with this PSA 8-graded 1957 Topps card. Three of the four corners push for MINT status, while the centering is accurate and the central image of "The Splendid Splinter" is sharp. There's even a mild rough cut. This is a fine example of which to start a top-notch set.
