Graded MINT 9 by PSA, the offered 1957 Topps Roberto Clemente card is an absolute stunner! Looking back through our auction software to see when the last time was that we sold an example in this grade, it turns out it was in 2015, and that's the only one going all the way back to 2008. The population report lists over 40 in the grade, but you wouldn't know it by the paucity of public sales records. This example displays with excellent centering and vicious right-angle corners, with clean, white borders and a razor-sharp image of the tragic humanitarian. If the reverse were centered a bit more accurately, there's a good chance this one would have become only the second GEM MINT 10 specimen known to exist.
