Following Mickey Mantle, you can easily make the case that Dodgers pitching legend and Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax is the most highly collected post-war subject in the hobby. But even the most advanced collectors tend to draw a blank at the mention of Koufax's extremely scarce 1958 Bell brand issue. This SGC 8.5 NM/MT+ graded example is tied with only one other as the highest graded example on record at SGC and displays only the slightest trace of imperfection at the green-bordered endpoints, but you need an eagle-eye to see it. The image quality, centering, and factory-fresh reverse are easily worthy of the high praise received. A fantastic example of one of Koufax's toughest issues!
