With the possible exception of Joe Namath's iconic 1965 Topps debut, the 1958 Topps Jim Brown rookie card stands as the most significant pasteboard ever produced to represent the gridiron. This featured PSA 5 example is exceptionally sharp, with vivid colors and well-maintained corners. It exhibits the common print snow in the black framing, a virtually inevitable characteristic, and shows a slight favoring towards the right-hand side. Despite these minor imperfections, this card is a striking piece, showcasing "First Down Brown" against one of the most iconic backgrounds in football card history.
