The 1959 Topps football 1st series collection contains significant rookie cards, including #4 Max McGee, and 51 Sam Huff as well as superstar cards of #1 Unitas, 10 Jim Brown, 20 Gifford, 23 Starr, 40 Layne, 55 Berry, and 82 Hornung. Packed in the traditional and generic TCG box (Trading Card Guild) the 500-card box shows how fresh the cards are at first glance, and who knows how many MINT and GEM MINT examples have defeated the test of time, remaining nearly perfect within their cardboard confines. If the winning bidder chose to do so, they could make a very significant impact on the PSA population report as well as the set registry.
