A tough rookie card to find in advanced grade, this example of Willie McCovey's debut from the 1960 Topps series is graded PSA 9 MINT and without a single specimen on record at the GEM MINT level with PSA, is about the best help you can get to make a quick impact on the PSA Set Registry. Beyond the MINT to GEM MINT corners expected for the grade, the card shows near-perfect centering and a flawlessly delivered image, boasting deep colors of green and yellow in support of the 1959 National League Rookie of the Year, six-time all-star, and three-time National League batting champion. McCovey came close in 1969 to adding his name to the rare list of immortals who have achieved a Triple Crown, taking the home run and RBI titles while finishing fifth in batting with a .320 clip.
