One of the first true legends of the NBA, Lakers forward Jerry West routinely flirted with the 30 points per game mark while dishing out nearly 7 dimes per game during his 14-year career. Although West makes his cardboard debut in the same year as the mighty Wilt Chamberlain, his rookie card is very highly prized, especially at the NM/MT level like the one here. Attention-grabbing yellow and orange greet the viewer to support the Hall of Fame player whose silhouette was used for the NBA logo. Centered ever so slightly toward the upper-left, with each of the four corners standing up well to the grade. The surface has a shimmering glass-like appearance of reflective gloss while the reverse is splendidly printed with typical light toning. If you need one for your collection, it's best not to wait any longer. A terrific example of this ultra-important rookie card in stunning NM/MT condition!
