The 1961 Topps Hockey Stamps Complete Set in uncut panel strip form is a rare find that highlights a unique moment in sports collectibles. Unlike the traditional trading cards, these stamps were issued in narrow panel strips featuring a row of individual player stamps. Each stamp showcases a color portrait of a hockey player from that era, capturing many of the biggest stars as well as lesser-known players. Originally, collectors were encouraged to cut the stamps apart and place them in an album specifically designed by Topps, making uncut versions difficult to find. The uncut strip form reveals how the stamps appeared before being separated, preserving the original layout and production style. Collectors highly value these uncut strips, as they offer a complete, untouched view of the entire set, providing a pristine glimpse into early 1960s hockey memorabilia. This original strip form panel was acquired from Alan "Mr. Mint" Rosen and is in great condition; it measures 21" x 31" set behind a baby blue background.
