The 1965 Topps football set is famous for its oversized “tall boy” cards, with colorful photos of AFL players set against a unicolored, solid background. Reverses are printed horizontally, with statistics and highlights as well as a cartoon pertaining to the player. Lacking only the iconic Joe Namath rookie card for completion the offered near set presents at a far more than acceptable level.
