The New York Mets had been perennial losers since their inception in 1962 and the 1966 season was no different with a final record of 66-95. But despite that, the boys from Queens had plenty to be optimistic about with the arrival of Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan. Ryan only pitched in two games that season, but he was with the team to autograph this 1966 Mets team ball. The ball is bright and the blue signatures are easily legible, including the penning of "The Ryan Express", the second name down on one of the side panels. LOA from JSA.
