Known for producing Rugby League cards in Australia in the early 1960s, Scanlen's quickly moved on to more mainstream issues and released this "The Monkees" collection in 1966, a 44-card set that was very popular in the land down under. The box and wrappers are virtually identical to the Donruss version save for the Scanlen's name on top with contents of 24 "packets" and advertising for "Metro Gum" on the side panel. Featured is a complete, unopened Aussie wax box of "The Monkees" that is sealed and certified by Baseball Card Exchange with the BBCE label affixed on the bottom. An incredibly rare item that may very well have no equal!
