Recently graded by PSA under what is arguably the harshest criteria we have ever seen them employ, the offered Lew Alcindor rookie card has been given an EX/MT 6 evaluation. Granted, the centering placement is slightly off, but literally every other scrutable facet of this card is well in advance of the given technical assessment. The man who would become the NBA's all-time scoring leader as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is presented with excellent contrast and clarity against a susceptible white palate that shows no readily visible errant print marks, and all four corners project at a level more in line with a NM/MT designation. The reverse is equally pleasing, boldly struck with no apparent flaws or blemishes. If you've been searching for an outstanding example of one of the most important basketball rookie cards ever produced that won't require securing a second mortgage, I think it's safe to say you've found it here.
