While most come out woefully off-center, the offered example of Lew Alcindor's iconic 1969 Topps rookie card shows just the slightest shift in centering, with bold, bright colors and an extremely detailed image of the superstar to soon be known as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, basketball's one-time, all-time leading point scorer. It's refreshing to see an Alcindor rookie card that radiates strong color from the susceptible white frame and blue oval, one of the main reasons the card has been able to achieve such a lofty grade.
