Sure, the rookie cards of Bill Russell and Michael Jordan probably enjoy more popularity, but there might not be a card that so appropriately captures the subject better than the debut pasteboard of 7' 2" Lew Alcindor. Centering is always a problem for this issue but the featured PSA 8 is extremely well-framed on the bright white canvas, which helps to spotlight the amazing quality of the NM/MT endpoint. The pigmentation on the reverse is equally as impressive, mildly toned as usual with bold red and blue printing to advertise the future Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's exceptional exploits at UCLA.
