Before quarterback John Reaves threw for consecutive 4,000+ yard seasons in Steve Spurrier's "Banditball" offense with the Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL, he was a nine year NFL player and a first round draft choice of the Philadelphia Eagles in 1972. Reaves wore this helmet during the 1973 and/or 1974 season, manufactured by Marietta with all padding and face bar completely intact. Inside the shell is masking tape with "REAVES" written in black marker. Nice game use is evident, with plenty of scuffs and scrapes visible on the shell. LOA from Mile High Card Company.
