Worn during the 1972 NFL season, this Riddell Kra-Lite II helmet has a time clock stamped "3-72" above the right ear hole. Inside the shell is HA-9 Micro Fit Fluid Cell padding, perfectly intact, as are the leather jaw pads and chinstrap. With no identify marks as to player, this helmet was likely used in training camp or as part of the taxi-squad. Terrific game use is evident. LOA from Lou Lampson, Mile High Card Company.
