The poorly-organized Jacksonville Sharks were unable to complete even one season in the World Football League (WFL), folding operations with six games remaining and a 4-10 record. However, the city did exhibit the potential for a more well-funded franchise to thrive, leading to Jacksonville being awarded an NFL expansion team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, in 1995. The presented jersey was worn by defensive lineman Ike Lassiter, who served 10 years in the NFL before joining the WFL. The front left tail displays the Russell Southern Company size 52 label, and excellent game use is evident, particularly the hit and scuff marks on the front and back numbers. LOA from Mile High Card Company.
