Remembered as one of the greatest moments in baseball history, Carlton Fisk's 12th inning walk-off homer helped the Red Sox capture game 6 of the 1975 World Series. After flailing his arms as he rounded first, willing the ball to stay inside the foul pole, Fisk continued on around the diamond as was caught in this Type I original news photo just as he approached home plate. The reverse has the United Press International stamp with a written caption for the photo. Excellent condition with only minor blemishes on the photo.
