Topps reintroduced a larger card format for its 1976-77 Topps Basketball set following five years of standard-sized card sets. Unlike the tallboys of 1969-70 and 1970-71, these cards exceed those dimensions, measuring at 3-1/8" by 5-1/4". This size surpasses any regular Topps card across all sports, resembling more of a "postcard" format.
