Maybe Star was taking a page from the Goudey playbook, but using Michael Jordan instead of Babe Ruth to produce multiple cards of the superstar. This one celebrates MJ for his selection of Rookie of the Year, and displays mostly NM to NM/MT characteristics in response to the usual centering bias. Another tough Jordan rookie card that rarely comes up for sale.
