It's not often that you can look back on a collectible from the 1980s and think to yourself, "Wow, I remember those from the vending machines that were at the exit of the supermarket I used to go to." I was in college at the time, and remember seeing the machine that housed pieces from the 14-card Prism Jewel set. I'm sure I had a Jordan, or maybe it's just wishful thinking in hindsight. At any rate, and as fate would have it, the 1985 Prrism/Jewel specimen of MJ is one of the most highly prized pieces in the expansive Jordan library, and this PSA 5 example is considered upper grade due to the vulnerable surfaces and thin paper stock. A wonderful specimen that clearly exudes tremendous eye appeal.
