The offered example of Brett Favre's scarce 1991 Stadium Club Super Bowl XXVI issue has been graded PSA 10 GEM MINT and is 1 of just 5 examples from precisely 48 on record at PSA to attain pinnacle status, a very impressive population given the assumption that approximately only 100 examples exist. Compare these numbers to the 787 GEMS from 8,209 submissions of his regular Stadium Club rookie issue, and you'll quickly come to understand why so many modern gridiron enthusiasts consider this to be Favre's single best rookie. Search the pop reports for Brett Favre's rookie issues yourself, and you'll confirm that every other one of his NFL approved rookie cards is massively overpopulated in the GEM MINT class. What distinguishes this example from Favre's regular TSC (Topps Stadium Club) issue is the presence of an embossed Super Bowl XXVI stamp in the upper right field. Marketing its new high-end product, Topps worked with the NFL to distribute approximately 50,000 packs of its promotional product to attendees of Super Bowl XXVI on a first come first serve basis. It's believed that this large number reflects the production of 100 examples of each of the 500 cards issued in the set. The fact that any survived in GEM MINT condition is a minor miracle bound to bring joy to gridiron collectors for generations to come!
