For 16 seasons, primarily in Kansas City, Mike Sweeney was one of the most potent offensive weapons among catchers in the league. The five-time All-Star wore this Royals home jersey during his tenure in KC, a size 50 Majestic Authentic Collection gamer that has the Majestic label with "50" and "-1 body" flags on the front left tail. Sweeney has signed the jersey in black marker with "Matt 5:16" inscription. Sweeney served as the first captain of the team from 2003-07 and the captain's "C" is on the right shoulder.
