Reaching out of the dugout to inspect some of the lumber available to him, "The Sultan of Swat" is presented in all of his majestic splendor on this 5" x 7" glass negative, likely from the 1930s. The negative is in excellent condition overall, which is rare given that it has likely been used countless times to recreate the original photo. A wonderful piece of baseball history.
