Two Hall of Famers and the all-time Hit King are offered side-by-side on the featured collectible, an incredibly scarce three-player sprue from the 1968 Topps All-Star Plaks test issue. Never distributed nationally or even regionally, these bronze plastic novelties were initially intended to be separated from all moorings, detached from the base, and inserted into the factory-molded holes for a stand-up appearance. On the offered example, the players remain attached to the frame, which is still very rectangular. A rare opportunity to acquire an extremely elusive item!
