Since 1884, La Presse has been one of the largest French-language newspapers in Canada. From 1927-1932, La Presse published weekly color photos of notable sports stars, none greater than the "Sultan of Swat," Babe Ruth, featured in this October 13, 1928 edition. The photo has several rips and tears on the central image but remains intact and is suitable for framing.
