Babe Ruth was such a larger than life American icon that even fellow Hall of Famers were in awe of his unprecedented abilities. The featured Original Type I photo offers a tremendous close-up shot of The Bambino, measures 5" x 6 3/4" and comes from the person estate of George "High Pockets" Kelly, a 1973 Hall of Fame inductee who led the National League in home runs in 1921 while the Babe was on top in the American League that year.
