Other than perhaps a NM/MT quality bottom right corner, this example of Willie Mays' 1957 Topps card has MINT features in just about every respect. Graded PSA 8.5, which usually means it's not really midway between but just a hair short of the upper grade, the offered specimen displays accurate centering for the issue, perhaps just a hair toward the north, with three corners that are strong enough for higher consideration. The surface is also MINT with noticeably accurate registration and no traces of the unappealing "snow" so common to the issue. Clearly ahead of any NM/MT specimen and comparable to those at the MINT level.
