The opening game of the 1925 World Series saw the return of the defending champion Washington Senators to take on the Pittsburgh Pirates. Unlike the previous season's walkoff win in Game 7, the Senators came up on the losing end of the series finale. But Washington took the first game 4-1 with Walter Johnson going the distance and striking out 10. This ticket stub comes from that exciting game. PSA authenticated.
