After Jimmie Foxx's homer helped give the Athletics a 1-0 series lead over the Cubs in the 1929 World Series, Philly completed the road sweep in Game 2 with a 9-3 shellacking. This time "The Beast" was joined by fellow Hall of Famer Al Simmons in the home run party, driving in seven of the nine runs between them and the A's were in the driver's set. Featured is the game-used ticket stub from that Cubs blowout loss.
