The PSA pop report for the ’56 Topps Babe Birrer gray-back variation lists just 14 examples graded PSA 9 with only 2 graded higher. Looking closely at this card, it is easy to see why MINT status has been achieved: perfect registration and focus of the deeply pigmented central image, MINT corners and blinding white borders.
