The elite-grade '53 Topps commons keep coming, this time in the form of Jim Hearn of the New York Giants. Perfectly framed with clean white borders and a mild factory rough cut along the right edge, this one had to have been a candidate for a MINT 9 designation and probably deserves it. As it stands, this is one of just 8 in the grade with 10 higher-graded examples on record.
