It wasn't often that the New York Yankees were manhandled in a World Series but such was the case in 1942, when the Cards disposed of the pinstripers in five games. This ticket stub is from that Game 5 clincher for the Redbirds, a 4-2 affair with a Phil Rizzuto homer negated by the game winning 2-run Whitey Kurowski blast in the top of the 9th. PSA authenticated.
