Although he's considered by many to be the greatest point guard in NBA history, Earvin "Magic" Johnson's combination of size, speed, ball-handling ability, and scoring touch allowed him to play at an all-star level at any of the five positions. A four-time leader in assists, Johnson ranks #5 all-time in the category despite playing 13 seasons, his career cut short when he was diagnosed with the HIV virus in 1991. He returned for one last season in 1995 and at the age of 36, still posted almost 15 points and 7 assists per game. A member of the legendary 1992 Barcelona Olympics "Dream Team," Magic led the Los Angeles Lakers to five NBA championships and was selected as the NBA Finals MVP three times. Presented is one of the most amazing pieces of NBA game-used equipment that MHCC has had the honor to present; the jersey of Magic Johnson that dates back to his rookie days with the Lakers. Featuring the Tiernan manufacturer's label sewn onto the center of the front tail, the mesh road jersey has been identified from the 1980-85 rookie era with all of the correct indicators and a perfect grade of A10 from MEARS with moderate wear exhibited.
