Recounting the annual midsummer classic in animated form, the 66-card 1970 Fleer and 68-card 1971 Fleer World Series collections are a refreshing change of pace to the typical sports card. Presented is a tremendous collection of over 1200 cards, mostly NM to MINT around the perimeter but about 10% are commonly mis cut while almost all others have the usual centering issues. From 1970, there is one complete set, one that is 64/66 and a third that is 59/66 with 16 extras for a total of 385 cards. From 1971 there are four complete sets, a fifth that is 66/68, a sixth that is 65/68, and a seventh that is 61/68 with 332 extras for a total of 862 cards. Straight out of packs or vending boxes, this almost 1250 card lot is a true find!
